How did you start out?
The idea for Gifts For A Girl
It was born a couple of Christmas’s ago whilst sat at my computer late at night trying to get Christmas sorted! I’m a mum to 3. It’s hectic here! Time is precious. I searched lots of websites, all the main ones but I really hadn’t got the time to look through a million search results, which my search for ‘gifts for girls’ had produced. A hand picked selection box of stylish and beautiful gifts ready to purchase that would last – in interest and quality – that’s what I wanted. I love Christmas but I was so frustrated – I just wanted it DONE, ticked off my list, finito! Research began into starting my own online store. I thought even if I was the only customer it would still be worth it!
Supporting abandoned children
I have long had a heart felt passion to support charities that provide actual, tangible, physical help and support for abandoned children. I decided that 10 % of the profits we make at giftsforagirl.co.uk go directly to orphanages/projects who spend their time rescuing, caring, feeding and/or educating abandoned and trafficked girls and boys.
So there you have it – the idea of www.giftsforagirl.co.uk came from a frustrating Christmas and a passion for change.
